L.A. County Surpasses 6 Million Doses Of COVID-19 Vaccines Administered

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LAPDH) announced Monday that over 6 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered to residents in L.A. County.

More than 6,000,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to people across Los Angeles County, Public Health officials announced Monday.

Of these, 4,080,126 were first doses and 2,239,672 were second doses. Over 4 million people have some additional protection against COVID-19 and over 2 million people are fully protected.

More than 70% of L.A. County residents 65 and older received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to Public Health officials.

“We in Los Angeles are in a good place right now – and we have an opportunity to chart a different course from the one we’re seeing play out in other parts of the country. But we can only do it together,” said LADPH Director Dr. Barbara Ferrer. “We know how well a simple mask works to protect both children and adults, and how critically important it is for each of us to do our part to protect each other by getting vaccinated as soon as we are able to. There’s never been more proof of how important it is for us to take care of each other, especially now that so many of us are getting back to work and school.”

Countywide, 711 vaccination sites are open this week and administering Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, including two new sites in Palmdale and Santa Clarita, the Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center and the College of the Canyons.

There may be an announcement at the end of this week about the vaccine’s safety from the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. L.A. County will follow the CDC and FDA directives on when it is safe to resume administration of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, according to LADPH officials.

This brings the county’s cumulative total to 1,229,311 positive cases of COVID-19 and 23,641 deaths since the onset of the pandemic, according to the LADPH officials.

Testing results are available for over 6,330,000 people, with a cumulative 18% of people testing positive, according to officials.

As of Monday, there were 470 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in L.A. County.

The Southern California Region has 33.1% staffed adult ICU capacity remaining as of the state’s last update on Tuesday, April 13, according to state health officials.

Residents are encouraged to continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19, to not gather in crowds, stay home when sick, wear a face covering and maintain physical distance from others when outside of the home.

Non-compliance and dangerous conditions at businesses and worksites can be reported to Public Health anonymously by phone at 888-700-9995 or online here.

Seriously, who is listening to these fools anymore,

Stanford University demonstrates face masks have zero chance of preventing the spread of Covid-19
National Center for Biological Information government website linked a peer-reviewed study by Stanford University’s Baruch Vainshelboim. In it, he cited 67 scholars, doctors, scientists, and other studies to support his conclusions.
One key part of the study notes: “The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective of viral and infectious disease such as SARS-CoV-2 and COVID -19.”
This is the same conclusion that nearly every mask study has ever come to — at least before “science” was corrupted by COVIDiots who wish to use the virus as a weapon to control the people.
Due to the difference in sizes between SARS- COVID -19 diameters and facemasks thread diameter (the virus is 1000 times smaller), SARS- COVID -19 can easily pass through any facemask or face shields
In other words, the virus can just seep right through these absurd masks we are all wearing, and the masks can’t stop it.
