Week 30 into the 3 week bending the curve, keep hospitals from getting overwhelmed plan. With Gavins new ‘equity’ metric and less than 1 case per 100,000, we are not close to ever reopening. People need to start speaking out or this is your new normal. Worried about your risk? You can choose to stay home.
Northern Californians Newsom,Pelosi,Feinstein and Harris won’t be happy until Southern California looks like Cuba and Venezuela with Garcetti in charge of the food lines.
Bending the curve has turned to zero cases?! Come on people, any common sense anymore? Covid isn’t going anywhere, we can look at the positive cases every day but we never did with H1N1 or Swine flu, bird flu, mad cow disease. Could we stop fixating on the numbers and move on with life in North Korea CA.
The newest equity plan before reopening, can anyone explain how equity has anything to do with Covid and reopening CA? This isn’t about Covid any longer. We have allowed Newsom dangerous free reign. Democrat, Independent, Republican, this isn’t a time to pick a party. We are Californians. We love our community our state.
Why does Stevenson Ranch have such a consistently increased number of cases each week when fewer people live there and are more affluent with more access to care?
You’d expect them to look at these figures and start taking extra steps to limit exposure for themselves and others in their community, or at least start asking why it’s happening there and slow or stop it.
They have more cases because they walk around acting like this isn’t a real thing, or that they won’t get it, so they walk into Trader Joe’s and then take their mask OFF! Then they wanna argue with the supervisor there and say it’s a conspiracy or whatever lame excuse for not using it and want to fight over it! This is the mentality of these people. They deserve it! Just because you might have a lot of money doesn’t mean you have more smarts! In fact, a lot of times it’s the opposite! It would help if everyone just keeps their masks ON, and quit bitching all the time! We will never shake this if we don’t use our heads and stop arguing with each other over it. The Covid doesn’t care who you are, or how you feel about it! It’s an equal opportunity virus that just wants to take EVERYONE down! We can fight about it all we want, but then IT wins! So perhaps it’s time we humans actually USE the BRAINS GOD GAVE US for once!
David Nabarro of the World Health Organization, told The Spectator today,
We in the World Health Organization do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,”
Additionally, WHO’s Special Envoy on COVID-19 Nabarro said,
“Look what’s happening to poverty levels. It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year.
We may well have at least a doubling of child malnutrition.”
The WHO envoy urged leaders to avoid overuse of lockdowns.
“Stop using lockdown as your primary control method Nabarro said“
There is just one situation Nabarro claims justifies a lockdown, however.
