The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) has reported a high compliance of vaccine verification, but less adherence to masking guidelines as inspectors continue ensuring required safety measures across L.A. County.
Even responding to complaints of non-compliance, 93 percent of bars, 94 percent of nightclubs and 100 percent of lounges inspected were in compliance with customer vaccination verification requirements between Oct. 30 and Nov. 5, according to Public Health.
“I am grateful the majority of businesses are protecting their employees and customers by following masking and vaccination verification requirements,” said Dr. Barbara Ferrer, director of Public Health. “These high rates of compliance are a testament to collaborations among business operators, employees and customers to follow common-sense safety precautions.”
Over the same period of time, inspectors noted that the majority of all businesses were in compliance with vaccine verification, but saw a larger amount of companies not adhering to masking requirements, according to Public Health.
“Only 68 percent of garment manufacturers, 67 percent of office sites, 80 percent of nightclubs, 82 percent of lounges and 85 percent of bars were in compliance with employee masking,” according to Public Health.
From Oct. 30 through Nov. 5, a total of six citations were issued to businesses across L.A. County including gyms, schools and a restaurant for noncompliance with Health Officer Orders.
Since June of 2020, 37 Santa Clarita businesses, mainly private schools and gyms, have received fines for their noncompliance with Health Officer Orders, according to Public Health.
A list of non-compliant businesses that received citations can be found here. Violations of safety requirements and dangerous conditions can be reported anonymously to Public Health by phone at 888-700-9995 or online.

I will just avoid any place that asks to see my papers. I feel bad for businesses but they need to stand up to this behavior of the “leaders” of LA, until businesses stop buckling and say enough is enough we’ll be required to show papers to walk out if our houses eventually
No need to be paranoid.
Anyone who still believes this is about public health is a fool. What will the sheeple comply with next?
To anyone who is thinking about reporting a business, you’re a cowardly snitch if you do.
“Snitch” is a child’s word.
