60 Pounds Of Fireworks Confiscated Over The Fourth Of July In Santa Clarita

Deputies confiscated approximately 60 pounds of fireworks intended for use by residents in the Santa Clarita Valley this Fourth of July.

On Monday, the Fourth of July, deputies conducting a firework crime suppression operation and were able to successfully remove 60 pounds of fireworks from local residents, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson with The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. 

Those in which the fireworks were confiscated from, were educated on the dangers of firework use, according to Arriaga.

The confiscation of the fireworks came after City and Los Angeles County officials made it clear that all fireworks, even the ones that say “safe and sane” are illegal in the Santa Clarita Valley Fourth of July celebrations.

  1. Young “adults”, who did not live here, tried setting off illegal fireworks on my street. A 100′ garden hose on full blast worked very well at dispursing the rabble, riffraff, and drunken retards. One idiot rolled down his window to yell at me, and got a car full of spray after F, but before You.
