A domestic violence suspect was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly resisted deputies while being detained.
Around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a reported domestic violence call in the 24400 block of Vista Ridge Drive in Valencia, said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“Prior to deputies’ arrival, there was reportedly a verbal argument between the suspect and a female adult victim, his wife, that escalated into (a physical fight),” Miller said.
When deputies attempted to detain the suspect, he allegedly physically resisted deputies.
Noah Lowman, 39, from Valencia was arrested for resisting law enforcement and corporal injury on a spouse, both felonies, according to Miller.
Lowman was booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail and later posted bond and was released.
