A chance of light showers is headed to the Santa Clarita Valley Wednesday evening into Thursday.
The warm summer-like temperatures are cooling back down into the 60s, with rain arriving Wednesday evening, Devin Black, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
The upcoming storm is expected to only bring up to about a 10th of an inch of rain, according to Black.
Showers are expected to linger into Thursday afternoon before the storm clears out.
Snow levels are expected to remain elevated, and are not expected to impact the 5 Freeway through the Grapevine.
