A burglary suspect was arrested on Friday after he allegedly stole items from Goodwill in Stevenson Ranch 

On Friday around 3:45 a.m.,  a call was received regarding a burglary at the Goodwill located on the 24800 block of Pico Canyon Road, Stevenson Ranch, according to Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. 

“It was reported a male adult was inside the business with a flashlight and backpack,” said Arriaga. 

Deputies detained a man who matched the description at the Jiffy Lube on the 24000 block of Pico Canyon Road, and was later identified as the suspect, added Arriaga. 

The surveillance footage showed that the suspect was inside the business and had gone through metal storage containers and placed unknown items into his backpack. 

The suspect, Su Huynh,  39, from Saugus was arrested and booked for burglary and was later released on his own recognizance, said Arriaga.
