Winnetka Man Pleads Not Guilty To Allegedly Raping Woman Outside Of Valencia Restaurant

A 24-year-old Winnetka man plead not guilty Tuesday after being charged with raping a woman in the parking lot of a Valencia restaurant.

Etienne Juarez Rosas is facing four felony charges: one count of kidnapping to commit another crime, one count of forcible rape and two counts of sexual penetration by foreign object, said Sarah Ardalani, public information officer for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

He is due back in court on April 26 for a pretrial conference.

If convicted as charged, Rosas faces a possible maximum sentence of 75 years to life in state prison.

The sexual attack allegedly happened on Oct. 25, inside the victim’s vehicle while it was parked  at the restaurant on the 27500 block of Wayne Mills Place, the prosecutor said.

“There are no other victims,” said Sgt. Brian Hudson with the Special Victims Bureau in a previous story. “(We’re encouraging) any other victims to come forward.”

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Santa Clarita Station.
