Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man that was reported in Santa Clarita Wednesday afternoon.

Around 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, Detectives responded to the 27900 block of Avalon Drive, just off Sierra Highway in the city of Santa Clarita regarding a death investigation, LASD officials reported.

The male adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the cause of the incident remains under investigation.

There is no additional information available at this time, according to LASD officials.
