Drug and alcohol-related incidents accounted for nearly 60 percent of Labor Day weekend arrests in Santa Clarita.
From Friday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 5, 29 people were arrested by deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and officers with the California Highway Patrol Newhall Area Office, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
