Four juveniles were arrested Tuesday after officials received reports of possible gang activity, officials said.
Citizens contacted the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station regarding possible gang activity, according to an official post written by Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the station.
“On Tuesday, Dec. 17, during evening hours, COBRA detectives who specialize in both juvenile and/or gang-related crime, accompanied by a probation officer, organized an operation to specifically patrol areas where activity was reported,” Miller wrote.
Four male juveniles were detained and taken to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station as a result of the operation, according to officials.
“All four were wanted for gang-related crimes,” Miller wrote. “Three were booked on felony assault with a deadly weapon charges, and the fourth juvenile on a misdemeanor battery charge.”
The four juveniles are set to be referred to the District Attorney’s office for prosecution consideration, according to officials.
Sergeant Brian Shreves, who oversees the station’s COBRA team, commented that “gang violence, as well as gang graffiti is an eyesore in the community, and we are committed to apprehend and prosecute all perpetrators to the fullest extent.”

What did they look like? What where their names!?! Who else is in their gangs?!?! If you don’t print the truth, how can we help with neighborhood watch!?!?
Thank you COBRA Detectives for your hard work and dedication to our community!! And understood from the D.A.’s office that the names of the subjects cannot be released officially by them because of the subjects’ ages. Did I correctly understand that? Great job Sarge!!
If you don’t tell the public what they are, white, Hispanic, black, Asian, how can neighborhood watch, etc. help!!??
If you were to list the punk’s names maybe it would motivate their parents to actually parent them.
Arm yourself silly, and You won’t worry as much.
If the parents CARED about their multiple children & America, they wouldn’t let that chronic behavior happen in the first place!! All children (even Illegal aliens) GET free taxpayer paid public schools from K-12!! Free(taxpayer paid )pubic libraries, meals, etc. !! No excuses!!
