An intoxicated 29-year-old Acton man was arrested for felony DUI after he injured an individual in a 14 Freeway crash Monday morning.
Around 12:50 a.m. Monday, California Highway Patrol (CHP) Newhall officers received reports of a two vehicle crash on the northbound 14 Freeway south of Golden Valley Road in Canyon Country, said Officer Josh Greengard, spokesperson for the CHP Newhall Area Office.
“After investigation it was determined (the suspect) was under the influence at the time of the crash and was arrested for DUI,” Greengard said.
The victim the suspect crashed into suffered minor injuries, Greengard said.
Skyler Marquez, 29, from Acton is being charged with felony DUI due to the victim’s injuries, according to Greengard.
