A Castaic woman was arrested after she allegedly slashed her boyfriend’s tires last week.

Around 9:45 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to the 28200 block of Bockdale Avenue in Canyon Country regarding a disturbance, said Shirley Miller, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“The suspect… allegedly took a knife and slashed the victim’s tires,” Miller said. “The suspect also threatened harm toward the victim.”

Deputies learned the two were in a dating relationship.

Jade Quinonez, 23, from Castaic, was arrested on charges of felony vandalism and criminal threats.

She was booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail.
