A man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI) in Santa Clarita after deputies received a report of him yelling at children inside his car while driving.

A concerned caller reported seeing the man driving near Cooper Hill Drive and McBean Parkway, stating he appeared to be under the influence while yelling at his kids around 1:36 p.m., according to Nicholas Hoslet, a Deputy at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station

Deputies quickly responded and located the vehicle, pulling the driver over near Newhall Ranch Road and Rye Canyon Road. 

Deputies arrested the man for a DUI.

Hoslet said the children in the vehicle were safely reunited with family.
