Multiple Suspects Rob Victim At Gunpoint In Castaic Neighborhood

Multiple suspects are on the run after they allegedly robbed a Castaic resident at gunpoint Sunday evening.

Around 9 p.m. deputies received reports of an armed robbery in the 28600 block of Cloverleaf Place in Castaic where several unknown men confronted the victim in the driveway of his home, said Deputy Mariela Picard, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“One of the suspects pointed a black handgun to the victim, (and) took several items from the victim,” Picard said.

The suspects fled the neighborhood in a BMW, however, no other description was available.

Deputies were seen knocking on several neighbor’s doors looking for surveillance footage in an effort to gather more vehicle or license plate information.

All suspects remain at large as of the publication of this article.

Anyone with information into the robbery is encouraged to contact the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-260-4000.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
