Nine Teenagers Arrested After Vandalizing Maintenance Yard At Central Park

Nine teenagers were arrested after they allegedly caused several thousand dollars in damages at a maintenance yard at Central Park in July.

Detectives with the Career Offenders, Burglary, Robbery and Assault, (COBRA) have been investigating reports of several incidents that occurred over the month of July, where groups of teens broke into a City maintenance yard at Central Park, causing damage to several City vehicles and other property, amounting to approximately $5,000 in damages, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station

“With thorough investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspects, leading to the arrests of nine juveniles ranging from ages 15-17,” Arriaga said.

The teens arrested were arranged to be brought into the SCV Sheriff’s Station, where they were booked on various charges of felony vandalism and trespassing, Arriaga said.

“One juvenile was also charged for taking a vehicle without owner’s consent,” Arriaga said.

All nine teenagers arrested were subsequently released on citation to their guardians, according to officials.

The investigation remains ongoing.

  1. I’m sure their Guardians are really upset and will punish them accordingly. NOT! Nobody will be held responsible and more importantly, compensate the taxpayers for the damage. They should have future wage garnishment including any Stimmie monies and welfare.

  2. Their parents should be forced to pay for it. I know it’s hard to control teens, but the pocket book is s a heck of a motivator. Just sayin’.

  3. This why abortion needs to be legal, and federally funded.

  4. They will be punished when they get home by their parent(s)——they will be given only 3 hits on the bong instead of 10 & 1 THC brownie instead of 5 !!

  5. someone misspelled PUNK!
I hope the “guardians” are held responsible for their BRATS

  6. Pond scum, where are the parents?

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
