Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detained a man after receiving multiple reports of hit and runs in Santa Clarita.

Officials received the initial call near the IHOP on Pico Canyon Road around 10:35 a.m., according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The suspect’s vehicle reportedly collided with two separate cars before deputies found the man. After officials confronted the man, he reportedly struck one of the deputies’ patrol car with his own vehicle, according to officials.

Official told KHTS that no injuries were reported as a result of any of the hit and runs.
