Robbery Suspects Steal $75k Of Cannabis From Man At Gorman Gas Pump

Deputies are investigating after four robbery suspects allegedly stole $75,000 worth of cannabis from a man getting gas at a Gorman Gas Station.

Around 9 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a reported robbery at a gas station in the 42800 block of Frazer Mountain Park Road in Gorman, said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“The victim, an adult male who owns a cannabis business, reported that he was fueling his vehicle when he was approached by two armed adult male suspects, who stole his watch,” Miller said. “Two additional adult male suspects then broke a window of the victim’s vehicle and stole large bags of cannabis valued at approximately $75,000.”

The suspects fled the scene in two separate vehicles and remain at large as of Monday morning, according to Miller.

This incident remains under active investigation.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
