Three Stevenson Ranch Residents Arrested For Inhaling Nitrous Oxide

Three Stevenson Ranch residents were arrested Friday after they were allegedly inhaling nitrous oxide in a Tesla.

Around 6:45 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to the area of Pico Canyon Road and Whispering Oaks Drive in Stevenson Ranch regarding a report of suspicious activity, Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, said.

“Deputies located the described vehicle, a Tesla, and determined that the occupants had been inhaling nitrous oxide and were exhibiting signs and symptoms of being under the influence,” Miller said. “During the investigation, deputies discovered multiple nitrous oxide tanks and balloons inside the vehicle.”

Michael Hanover, 31, Andrew Klein, 28 and Lauren Prikosovits, 28, all from Stevenson Ranch, were arrested on misdemeanor charges for possession of nitrous oxide, Miller said.

All three individuals were transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail, where they were booked, cited, and later released with a future court date, Miller added.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
