A Saugus man was arrested after he allegedly broke into a business in Saugus Saturday afternoon to use the restroom.

Around 2:15 p.m., deputies responded to a burglary in the 27600 block of Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus, said Deputy Mariela Picard, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“Upon arrival, deputies observed the suspect… exiting the building through a rear door,” Picard said. “After being detained, the suspect stated he had willingly entered the building but did not explain how he gained access… The suspect admitted to damaging the thermostat and using the building’s utilities to bathe and use the restroom.”

Sean Falconer, 54, from Saugus was arrested for felony burglary.

He was booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station with a $5,000 bail.
