A Saugus man was arrested this week for felony child endangerment after several drug products were allegedly found in his home.

On Thursday, a tip came in to deputies with the Juvenile Intervention, (J-Team)  regarding a man on the 29000 block of Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus, selling tobacco products to minors, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“Following up on the investigation, this led the J-Team to search the man’s home located in Saugus where they found numerous amounts of vapes, marijuana, cocaine, LSD and prescription pills not prescribed to the suspect,” Arriaga said.

These findings would lead to the arrest of Andres Jiminez, 26, of Saugus, for felony child endangerment, soliciting tobacco to minors, possession of cocaine for sales, among several other narcotics charges, according to Sheriff’s officials.

In January of this year, Jimenez was arrested on similar charges, Arriaga added.

He was booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and remains in custody as of Friday morning.
