Suspect Wanted By FBI Arrested In Stevenson Ranch

A man who was wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was located and arrested in Stevenson Ranch Friday night.

At around 9:30 p.m. Friday, deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Special Assignment Team (SAT) conducted a traffic stope near The Old Road and Sagecrest Circle for a vehicle code violation, according to officials.

“After making contact with the male adult driver, deputies learned from law enforcement database checks that the man was being sought by the FBI, in addition to having other warrants in the system,” wrote Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the station, in an official post Saturday.

The man reportedly had an “extensive criminal record,” and was found with multiple pieces of mail with different names and addresses, along with fraudulent mail keys, methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia, according to officials.

“This incident remains an active, ongoing investigation,” Miller wrote.

The suspect was arrested, transported to and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail.
