Three men have been charged in connection with a series of robberies, including the attempted carjacking and shooting of a woman in the driveway of her Stevenson Ranch home, officials said Wednesday.
Leonardo Martinez, 18, Matthew Crews, 18, and Jeremy Hernandez,19, all of Lancaster, face three counts of second-degree robbery, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Martinez and Hernandez also face 11 counts of second-degree robbery, five counts of attempted second-degree robbery and one count of attempted carjacking with personal use of a firearm.

Additionally, Hernandez faces one count each of attempted carjacking with personal use of a firearm, attempted murder, assault with a firearm and attempted first-degree ATM robbery with allegations of using a handgun and causing great bodily injury.
“During the commission of the robbery, the suspect fired a shot, striking the victim,” said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “The suspect then fled the scene on foot.”
After a description of Hernandez was released Sunday evening, law enforcement officials located him in Lancaster Monday evening and he was taken into custody, Miller said.
Through their investigation, detectives from Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and Lancaster Sheriff’s Station were able to identify the suspect and put out a call for public tips to find Hernandez.
Detectives say it was a tip submitted to the L.A. CrimeStoppers tip line that helped them apprehend Hernandez on Monday evening in Lancaster, and safely bring him into custody, according to Miller.

Agree!!! Too many criminals own them. We need to protect ourselves and keep them close. Glad we have the 2nd amendment.
Support concealed carry of firearms.
Do NOT vote for Gascon. He will make sure these guys are set free.
GASCON(liberals) authored Prop. 47 which lets career criminals out of jail early & reduces felonies to misdemeanors allowing these bastards to continue their job, a life of crime!! Look at the degradation from Seattle to San Diego!! The Progressives /Liberals don’t care about decent Americans!!!
