Around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, deputies received reports of a stolen vehicle near Jakes Way and Sandy Drive in Canyon Country, according to Sgt. Lopez with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The vehicle was later found crashed near Jason Drive and Via Princessa, according to officials.

“The suspects were seen running from that location,” Lopez said.

Deputies located two suspects believed to be connected with the stolen vehicle near Iron Stone Drive and Soledad Canyon Road at 10:05 a.m., where they were taken into custody, according to officials.

A deputy at the scene later confirmed that at least one of the suspects detained was a minor.

The No. 3 lane on the westbound side of Soledad Canyon Road was temporarily shut down as officials worked to clear the incident.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, according to officials.

  1. What did the BAD guys look like?!?! Asian, white, Hispanic, black, Icelandic, Eskimo?! How can we help, if, we’re not told the truth/facts!?!?

    • Watch the video…

No need to help when the video clearly shows them being held and gun point, hand-cuffed and placed in the back seat of a Sheriff’s vehicle.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
