Two Stevenson Ranch vandalism suspects were arrested on felony charges after they were allegedly caught tagging, officials said.
On Wednesday, , around 6:30 p.m. deputies responded to a business located on the 25400 block of The Old Road in Stevenson Ranch regarding a vandalism that had just occurred, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“It was reported that two male Hispanic adults, approximately in their 20s, one wearing a gray shirt and black pants and one wearing a blue basketball jersey with black pants were seen tagging on a dumpster and concrete alongside the business,” Arriaga said.
Deputies conducted a patrol check of the nearby perimeter and located two male adults matching the description of the alleged taggers, according to Arriaga.
“Deputies detained the males and conducted an investigation in which they recovered multiple spray paint cans from their property,” Arriaga said.
Deputies obtained a positive “field show-up” by the witness and arrested Michael Estrada, 30, a transient and Bryan Hernandez, 27, from Newhall on felony vandalism due to the extent of the damage, Arriaga added.
Both suspects were transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s jail with bail set at $0, according to arrest records.

(Dumb fools like yourself can jaw all you want about it, but almost always, it’s kids that do the deed, and they’re not even politically AWARE!) When I grew up in a southwestern megalopolis long ago, you would see the same message, neatly painted on the occasional piece of public infrastructure, barely big enough to read, in hundreds of places all over town, “Who is John Galt?”. “Jesus Saves” was a close second. “Kilroy was here” is widely credited with starting modern graffiti.

For once, I totally agree with you! What you just said is spot-on! It doesn’t matter what the words are! It IS ghetto, and simply we don’t want it HERE! It’s ugly and unsightly. For the questionable folks who condone this vandalism, or don’t really care if it’s there, you should promptly move the hell outta SCV NOW, as fast as you can, as that mentality is a big reason the rest of us live HERE!
