I live in the Woodlands on Valencia Blvd. I have lived in SCV since 1974. My wife and I are both long-time Santa Clarita residents. My wife and I both went to Sierra Vista and Canyon.

We have seen many changes over the years. When we were in high school, we would hear Bermite blow up every so often. In Sand Canyon, we had space ordinance systems. We were way out in the middle of nowhere and had all kinds of crazy up here.

The courthouse is the worst thing I have ever seen proposed. Why in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in the SCV? Mc Beam and Valencia are already very busy. First responders are having a hard time getting through on their way to Henry Mayo. We already have the mall and transportation center there.

Who would even think this is a good idea when we have so many other options? How about in Castaic by the jail or by the sheriff station, which is where it should go. Not in the center of our city.
