Students and residents around Santa Clarita are being offered a unique travel opportunity from the College of the Canyons Foundation this July.

The trip, referred to as “The Shades of Ireland,” will allow students and residents to travel to the Emerald Isle, known for its pristine ocean scenery and picturesque villages.

Those to attend the trip can soak in the landscapes of rolling hills and feel the warmth of an Irish welcome, as well as explore castles and sail on scenic lakes.

The trip will allow those who attend to visit Dublin, Waterford, Killarney, Limerick, Kilkenny, the Blarney Stone, Blarney Castle, Killarney, the Cliffs of Moher, Galway and stay in Cabra Castle.

This comprehensive tour introduces Ireland’s natural beauty, rich history and most importantly, its hospitable culture. This trip is all inclusive sedan service pickup and drop off to airport, airfare, transportation, several meals, and four-star lodging.

The trip will take place from July 9 – 17, 2016.

An Ireland informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. to learn all about the details of this trip.

The meeting will take place at the College of the Canyons University Center in room 301.
