iLEAD Online School Graduates Approved For NCAA Division 1 Eligibility

Graduates of iLEAD Online Charter School are now eligible to participate in and receive scholarships for Division 1 college athletics, as the program received official approval from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), officials said Wednesday.

“It is an honor to be considered a rigorous program that meets the NCAA’s standards of excellence,” said Allison Bravo, program coordinator at iLEAD Online.

The iLEAD organization, which also operates Santa Clarita Valley International (SCVi), now boasts every major accreditation and approval for high school students for its iLEAD Online Charter School.

Those accreditations include their newly acquired NCAA approval, A-G approval by the University of California system and Western Association of Schools and Colleges accreditation.

“Learners who take even a few classes with us part-time receive an official transcript that reflect these same accreditations,” Bravo said.. “Very few online schools can say the same.”

The online tuition-free public charter school serves grades 3 through 12 across the Los Angeles metro area and offers a wide catalog of course offerings with full-time, part-time, or flexible start options.

“Full-time iLEAD Online students have the same opportunity to achieve success in college, sports and career as students at traditional public high schools,” Bravo said.
