At SCVi And Other iLEAD Schools, Learning Is Fun

The teachers (also known as facilitators) guide the learners in project based and social emotional learning and the kids take the driver’s seat in their journey through education.

At iLEAD schools, listening to a teacher preach at the head of the room is not how they run things.

Do you have an 8th grader looking for a different high school experience?

SCVi has a smaller scale high school with the benefits of a career and technical education (CTE) while still having similar high school experiences as the public schools do, like dances and sports.

What is CTE?

CTE is one of the programs offered through iLEAD schools.

It’s career and technical education that acts as a customized pathway that focuses on careers such as nursing, engineering, and the arts.

This amazing program gives a sense of purpose to the students involved because not only are they learning high school curriculum, they are learning about specific careers more in depth and will obtain a better understanding of their career paths when they graduate at SCVi.

At SCVi, the question “when will I apply this to real life situations?” isn’t even a question. Since opening its doors in 2008, SCVi was the first iLEAD school in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Since then, more programs have developed and iLEAD has opened locations in Lancaster, Agua Dulce, and in the Antelope Valley. Some programs offered are hybrid classes, online, homeschool, and in person learning.

If you have a high schooler or an 8th grader looking for specialized learning, check out ileadsantaclarita.org to learn more about SCVi and iLEAD schools and the programs offered.
