Reyes Winery is set to host the eighth annual Sierra Pelona Ava Wine Festival in April celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Zonta Club, officials said Friday.
The wine festival is scheduled to take place at Reyes Winery on April 4, 2020, with the event to support the local Santa Clarita Valley Zonta chapter, according to organizers.
The event is set to showcase around 175 wines from over 35 local wineries, breweries, cider and spirits, as well as live music and food from more than 20 of Santa Clarita’s to the Antelope Valley’s gourmet food companies and Santa Clarita artists, according to officials.
Wine enthusiasts are also set to be able to participate in a live auction and an opportunity raffle to help raise, according to officials.
In 1920, a small group of pioneering women came together in Buffalo, New York with a vision to help all women realize greater equality while using their individual and collective expertise in service to their community, according to officials.
Their vision became Zonta International, an organization that has grown to more than 29,000 members in 63 countries, working together to make gender equality a reality for women and girls worldwide.
Doors open for VIP members at 12 p.m. and general admission at 1 p.m.
The wine festival is scheduled for April 4, 2020, at Reyes Winery, located at 10262 Sierra Highway, Santa Clarita.
