Habitat for Humanity will honor seven Santa Clarita veterans who work to serve other local veterans, in Universal City on Feb. 21.
The annual Builders Ball will be hosted by the Santa Clarita-San Fernando Valley division of Habitat for Humanity.
The organization is building an affordable housing project for military veterans and their families, known as Homes for Heroes, on Center Pointe Parkway in Saugus, and another one in Sylmar.
Veterans constitute 7 percent of the nation’s population, and an even bigger percentage of the Santa Clarita Valley.
