A new event will connect expecting women and family members with organizations and businesses that offer information, opportunities, products and services related to maternity, birth and infant care.

The Maternity and Baby Show©  is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Valencia and the Santa Clarita Conference Center, at 24500 Town Center Dr.

“We are pleased to donate a portion of the event’s proceeds to support the exceptional care and outstanding services provided by the Kim and Steven Ullman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or NICU, at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital,” announced producer Gary Buterbaugh.

The Maternity and Baby Show© will be open to the public from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., with features that include:

• Free Admission, free parking and free drawing entries
• An exhibit area with community resources, organizations and businesses
• Presentation/demonstration sessions on topics important to expecting mothers and families
• Maternity health screenings
• Freebies, special offers and prize drawings with many prizes worth $50 or more.  One lucky attendee will win a Grand Prize of up to 500 California Super Lotto Plus Quick Pick Plays
• A Mother’s Lounge, a quiet resting place for expecting and nursing mother
• Kid’s Zone with games, activities and entertainment for children, ages 4 – 12

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is led by a board-certified neonatologist. In state-of-the-art private rooms, Henry Mayo’s Neonatal Care Team provides round-the-clock individualized, expert care and monitoring for newborns with specialized healthcare needs.
