What: A Prospective Family Info Session starts at 5:00 p.m., followed by the full Open House at 5:30 p.m. This is the primary opportunity for families to tour the campus, meet teachers, and see student projects in action.

What: Passing Wind is an uproarious farce that defies convention by tearing down not only the fourth wall but the fifth wall as well, plunging into screwball madness. Two brothers join a caravan of characters who find themselves entangled in a play within a play within a world their fictional minds can scarcely grasp. They reveal themselves all to be playwrights who have authored the same play, Passing Wind, soon discovering their scripts are merely props.

American Cancer Society Relay For Life Annual Survivors & Caregivers Celebration Dinner

What: The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Santa Clarita Valley invites cancer survivors and their caregivers to the 2026 Survivor and Caregiver Celebration Dinner, which celebrates their strength, resilience, and the journey they share. The annual dinner will take place Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Canyon Country Community Center, 18410 Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita. Participation is free but pre-registration is required. Attendees will be treated to a celebratory evening featuring dinner, desserts, guest speakers, music, raffles, photo opportunities, and more.

After the Break: Memory, Vulnerability, and Landscape in the St. Francis and Baldwin Hills Dam Disasters

What: Attend an insightful program with historian Ann Stansell at Rancho Camulos Museum examining the 1928 St. Francis Dam disaster and the 1963 Baldwin Hills Dam failure. She will explore how these events are remembered through historic landscapes, family stories, ongoing acts of remembrance, and how communities continue to interpret their legacy.

Placerita Canyon Nature Center – Ongoing Programs

When: Saturdays and Sundays

What: • Monthly Bird Walk is offered on the first and second Saturdays of each month (weather permitting) starting at 8:00am March-November and 9:00am December-February. Bring your binoculars (or borrow ours), water, comfortable shoes and a field guide if available. • Blooms Of The Season is held on the fourth Saturday of every month and begins at 9:00am at the front steps to the Nature Center. Learn about native plants and what’s blooming year- round along our trails. • Books & Hikes meets the 4th Sunday of the month at 9:00am September through May, 8am June through August. See our website for program information. • Community Nature Education Series is every 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:00PM and provides a free educational program open to the public. • Placerita Nature Tots is the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:30am. For 3-to-6-year-olds. Program lasts 45 minutes to one hour and will involve learning about the environment. Registration starts on the first of the month. Space is limited. To register: [email protected] NOTE: No program in August 2025. • Walker Cabin Tours of the historic Walker cabin are available every Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Tours are also available on other days of the week. Please call the park office to confirm availability. • Family Nature Walk is every Saturday from 11:00am to 12:00pm. An easy one hour walk for the entire family exploring our Natural Area’s animals, plants and cultural history. • Saturday Morning Nature Center Discovery is every Saturday at 10:00am and Noon. A fun meet and greet with the Natural Areas Superintendents. Learn more about your park, ask us questions, and find out fun ways to make the most of your visit!

Farm Visits At Gilchrist Farm (Every Sat & Sun)

What: Farm Visits are available Saturdays and Sundays from 9AM-2PM year round (with extended hours during holidays and special events). Come meet the animals, tour the farm, have a pony ride, milk the goats, and enjoy the farm. No reservations or facial covering required.
