23rd Annual Festival of Trees

What: You and your family are invited to kick off the holiday season at the 23rd Annual Festival of Trees and Magic of the Lights Gala—Santa Clarita’s favorite holiday tradition! This festive three-day event features beautifully designed trees, Holiday entertainment, and A joyful community atmosphere. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley’s programs, giving local youth a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive.

“Soiree Musicale” – The Master’s University Chorale

What: The Master’s Chorale is an auditioned choir, directed by Dr. Marius Bahnean, representing students from almost every academic major at The Master’s University. During its annual tours, the Chorale has traveled to various regions of the United States, and internationally to the United Kingdom, Spain, Albania, Russia, and to Israel every four years. Join us for an evening of music under the directon of a special guest conductor Dr. Emanuel Balaceanu, Director of Choral Activities at Universitatea Emanuel din Oradea, Romania.

Santa’s Workshop Boutique – Supporting Hart Football and Dance Teams

Mission Opera “Amahl And The Night Visitors”

When: Saturday, November 22nd | 4 pm – 5 pm

What: One of our very first traveling productions, Amahl and the Night Visitors has become a cherished part of Mission Opera’s touring repertoire. We continue to bring this heartfelt story to multiple venues each season, sharing its timeless message with new audiences year after year.

Placerita Canyon Nature Center – Ongoing Programs

When: Saturdays and Sundays
Where: Placerita Canyon, 19152 Placerita Canyon Rd., Newhall CA 91321

What: • Monthly Bird Walk is offered on the first and second Saturdays of each month (weather permitting) starting at 8:00am March-November and 9:00am December-February. Bring your binoculars (or borrow ours), water, comfortable shoes and a field guide if available. • Blooms Of The Season is held on the fourth Saturday of every month and begins at 9:00am at the front steps to the Nature Center. Learn about native plants and what’s blooming year- round along our trails. • Books & Hikes meets the 4th Sunday of the month at 9:00am September through May, 8am June through August. See our website for program information. • Community Nature Education Series is every 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:00PM and provides a free educational program open to the public. • Placerita Nature Tots is the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:30am. For 3-to-6-year-olds. Program lasts 45 minutes to one hour and will involve learning about the environment. Registration starts on the first of the month. Space is limited. To register: [email protected] NOTE: No program in August 2025. • Walker Cabin Tours of the historic Walker cabin are available every Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Tours are also available on other days of the week. Please call the park office to confirm availability. • Family Nature Walk is every Saturday from 11:00am to 12:00pm. An easy one hour walk for the entire family exploring our Natural Area’s animals, plants and cultural history. • Saturday Morning Nature Center Discovery is every Saturday at 10:00am and Noon. A fun meet and greet with the Natural Areas Superintendents. Learn more about your park, ask us questions, and find out fun ways to make the most of your visit!

Farm Visits At Gilchrist Farm (Every Sat & Sun)

When: Every Saturday and Sunday

What: Farm Visits are available Saturdays and Sundays from 9AM-2PM year round (with extended hours during holidays and special events). Come meet the animals, tour the farm, have a pony ride, milk the goats, and enjoy the farm. No reservations or facial covering required.
