Fire Burns Quarter Acre In Wash

Firefighters make quick work of fire off San Fernando Road.

 

[view:node_ad=5]At 2:49pm this afternoon, a fire broke out off of San Fernando Road.

The fire burned ¼ acre in the wash near the Wiley Canyon bridge, to the west of San Fernando Rd. .  

A plume of smoke was visible from many locations in Santa Clarita, however nearby fire unit 73 was able to handle the blaze, and called off additional units just after 3:00pm.
