Desert Solace founders Jerri Jorgensen and Mark Jorgensen are very open with their story on how they prevailed in addiction, and now they wish for others to start healing from their addictions.

The cold grip of addiction is not only known to weigh down heavy burdens on it’s victims, addiction is also known to tear apart families and loving relationships.
However with the healing touch and guidance of Desert Solace, your struggles too can begin to dissolve away from your life.
Jerri Jorgensen knows from experience that when a loved one close to you appears weakened due to their addictions, it can be incredibly painful to see the disconnect and isolation that lingers with it.
As Jerri and her spouse/cofounder of Desert Solace, Mark Jorgensen, worked hard to commit to a cleanseful transition, she knew that it was not just her situation that could be solved with proper treatment.
Jerri Jorgensen then launched Desert Solace to assist others in their addiction battles.

Jerri Jorgensen stresses:
“You wouldn’t send a drug addict to once a week counseling…they need to be in a place where they can heal. Where they can detox. And where they can get away from the everyday struggles of life where they can really work on themselves.”
That’s why she works within the residential and meditative treatments she feels fit to prosper the growth of someone battling addiction.
The Healing Red Rocks and Healing Atmosphere
As patients come into the Desert Solace rehabilitation center, they gain ways to heal through traditional treatment methods as well as through developing long term healthy lifestyle.
In Southern Utah, the location of Desert Solace, there was “something healing about the red rocks and something healing about the atmosphere” explains Mark Jorgensen.
That’s when he knew that Southern Utah was where he wanted to begin the center of Desert Solace with his wife Jerri Jorgensen.
Now with their addiction story in the past, they seek out others all around the state of Utah and all over the country who wish to close their door on addiction for good.
Desert Solace is an inpatient addiction treatment center in St. George, Utah. Desert Solace specializes in the treatment of pornography and sex addictions. Additionally, they offer treatment programs for gaming, gambling and substance abuse.
