Santa Clarita Relationship Coach: ‘The High-Value Masculine’

Santa Clarita Relationship Coach Jessica Hartley opened up a discussion about what she calls “the high-value masculine” during the latest “Thriving Relationships” on KHTS Radio.

Hartley invited Oren Harris, a transformational coach and spiritual teacher, to the show, opening up the discussion by talking about what she often hears from women about what they “want” and “can respect” in a man.

“What I hear is that they want someone that can be confident, can be a leader, who can speak to them with respect and solve problems as a team, but still really owning that confidence and that leadership,” Hartley said.

Harris agreed, and pointed out his belief that a man’s ability to step into these qualities is directly related to how deeply he trusts and respects himself.

“It really is as simple as that — trusting himself and respecting himself, which inevitably leads to being himself,” Harris said. “That is where then a woman can, whether she’s conscious of it or not, that’s when she can truly trust and respect him.”

However, if the man is looking “for permission” from the woman to fully “own his truth” before he respects himself, then the trust and respect between them is already being “eroded,” according to Harris.

“Someone can only really fully respect us to the degree we’re respecting ourselves,” he said.

Hartley seconded this, noting that if a man feels like his wife doesn’t respect him because she’s “always nagging” or blaming him for things, then he’s right, but there’s more to it than that.

“Those are not things that a woman who respects her man would do really. She would have a different disposition,” Hartley said. “But it’s like (Harris) said, that doesn’t come from the wife or the spouse needing to change herself. That really comes from the man owning, respecting and trusting himself so that he can really fully step into that, and then there’s something for her to respect.”

  1. Where do you get this bull, women now want a strong man, after more than a two decades of the pussyfication of young men. This is what you wanted men that are intouch with their feelings and attentive to your needs. Well now you have stop complaining wishing that men respected themselves.

    This is such liberal crap.
