Narcotics detectives served a warrant in Stevenson Ranch this morning, arresting two individuals for selling drugs and committing armed robbery.

According to Lt. Mark Hershey, the investigators went to a location in Stevenson Ranch around 8 a.m. and arrested Christopher Vest, 19, and another young man under the age of 18 on suspicion of possession of heroin for sale and armed robbery.

Confiscated during their search were scales, paraphernalia and several hundred dollars worth of heroin.

Both were taken to the Santa Clarita Valley station for booking.

Vest is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. The other individual is a juvenile and additional information was not available.
