The scone recipe left out about a cup of liquid from the ingredient list. It can be an egg, a cup of sour cream or heavy cream, or any liquid-y ingredient that tastes good. If the recipe is attempted as written, the scones will fall apart. Also, there is an extra cup of liquid in the glaze recipe, so that’s wrong, too, and the glaze will be a watery mess. Recipes are algorithms. They need to be correct in order to turn out as intended. This error goes hand in hand with the multitude of typos I see in the Signal, and it’s an example of why people don’t trust it as a reliable source.
