Deborah’s Super Delicious Sweet Potato Casserole
Ingredients
- FRESH SWEET POTATO
- 4-5 fresh sweet potatoes
- 1/3 c dark molasses
- 1/2 tsp salt
- CANNED SWEET POTATO
- 1-2 can sweet potatoes
- REMAINING INGREDIENTS TO ADD
- 1 c pineapple chunks, fresh or canned
- 1/3 c dark molasses
- 1/4 c orange juice, fresh
- 1/2 c pecans
- 1 lg apple, peeled and cut in pieces
- 1/3 c brown sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 1/2 c water reserved from boiling potatoes or liquid from cans of potatoes
- 2 Tbsp corn starch or flour
- TOPPING
- 1 1/2 c mini-marshmallows
