How To Return Your Ballot

Voters can return completed mail-in ballots using an official ballot drop box or regular U.S. mail at no additional cost. Voters who prefer to cast their ballots in person can visit a participating voting center.

Only use official ballot drop boxes and voting locations listed by election officials. Voters can verify locations through the Los Angeles County ballot drop-off locator or review the county’s official ballot drop-off guidelines.

Using unofficial ballot boxes can carry legal consequences.

Voters who are not registered or who missed the regular registration deadline may qualify for same-day voter registration. More information is available through the California Secretary of State’s Same Day Voter Registration page.

Track Your Ballot

Voters can sign up for ballot status notifications through the California Secretary of State’s Where’s My Ballot? service. The service offers text, email or voice alerts for ballots that have been mailed or returned at a polling place, voting center or drop box.

Voters who return ballots by mail should do so early and follow the official election deadlines to help ensure their ballots are received and counted.

2026 Election: Where To Find Ballot Drop Boxes Across The Santa Clarita Valley

  1. Tragically and sadly, I for one have lost all faith in the election process in California. It is just too coincidental that in election after election the results change in the leftist’s favor after the 3 month counting process the Dems insist is ‘only fair’, especially when they insist their voters are too stupid to provide ID to vote. Drop boxes have been commandeered by the Dems as an illegal and immoral process to rig all elections.
