In a tweet from his official Twitter account on Friday, Knight, CA-25, stated that the investigation into whether Russian officials interfered in the 2016 Election has had his full support “since its inception.”

Knight also said he believes that all those found guilty as a result of the Mueller investigation “should be held accountable.”

And this is not the first time the Republican congressman has shown his support for the investigation and the FBI.

In January, Knight said he supported the independent investigation being conducted by Robert Mueller in regards to Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, and that it should “continue on.”

“I fully support the investigation into Russian interference in our election and will continue to do so until it is properly concluded upon discovery of the full truth,” Knight said on Feb. 3 — the day of the Nunes memo being released.

Yesterday’s tweet from Knight comes as a response to 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities being indicted by Mueller’s team.

“The defendants allegedly conducted what they called information warfare against the United States, with the stated goal of spreading distrust towards the candidates and the political system in general,” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said.

All 13 Russian nationals were charged with “conspiracy to defraud the United States. In addition, three defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and five defendants with aggravated identity theft, CNN reports.

One of the Russian nationals indicted was Richard Pinedo, a Santa Paula man that pled guilty to allegedly stealing personal information an online auction house business and then selling those identities to people outside of the country, according to U.S. District Court documents unsealed on Friday.

  1. How about introducing a bill to save lives by making it more difficult to get a gun!! How can a 19 year old buy a gun but not. It a beer? That makes sense. Ridiculous people attached to your guns. So pathetic.

    • You really think by raising the age will make it more difficult to purchase a gun? Why is it that we actually have less guns than in the 1950’s and yet kids were not going around shooting up schools? It’s because people have changed. Why don’t we hear from you Jane and others every time some policeman, security guard or military person stops a killer by having a gun??
