State Senate District 21 Candidates Raise More Than $1.4 Million In Fourth Quarter

Incumbent Senator Scott Wilk has far outpaced the pack of his competition for California’s 21st Senate District, as his campaign raised $1.1 million of the $1,408,261 raised in total by all candidates thus far, according to filings with the California Secretary of State’s office.

The next closest to Wilk is Democratic candidate Kipp Mueller, who was able to raise $204,823.90 from 434 contributions for his 2020 campaign.

That equates to an average donation of $472 for Mueller’s campaign, whereas Wilk has been able to bring in nearly three times that amount per contribution at an average of $1,434 per donation.
