SCCS (23-5) vs. St. Francis (26-7)
Boys Basketball – Division 2AA CIF-SS Championship
Saturday, 12 p.m., Azusa Pacific University
The Cardinals have the opportunity to clinch their second title in three years on Saturday as they make their third straight CIF Southern Section championship game appearance. It took overtime for SCCS to get past Chaminade in the semifinal round, but the Cardinals were able to come up with the win behind a 30-point outing from Ty Harper. They’ll look to carry the momentum from the dramatic win into their championship matchup.

Trinity (20-6) vs. Banning (20-12)
Boys Basketball – Division 5A CIF-SS Championship
Saturday, 4 p.m., Godinez High School
Trinity breezed their way through the first three rounds of the playoffs and overcame their most serious challenger, Sierra Vista, in the semifinal with a 54-46 win to advance to the championship against Banning. They’ll make the long road trip to the game’s neutral location in Santa Ana for an opportunity to bring home their first title since the 2013-14 season.
Master’s (26-2) vs. Vanguard (21-4)
Women’s Basketball
Saturday, 5:30 p.m., Vanguard University
No. 2 Master’s closes out their regular season with a final ranked matchup as they travel to Costa Mesa to face No. 6 Vanguard University Saturday evening. The Mustangs dropped their most recent meeting with a ranked opponent, when they lost to No. 4 Westmont College at home on Saturday. They’ll look to maintain their hold among the top of the NAIA college basketball polls with a strong win over Vanguard.
