A brush fire in a Canyon Country wash is considered 100 percent contained as of 3:45 p.m. Sunday, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.

The fire at 27023 Langside Ave. was initially reported be 100 feet by 30 feet, said department dispatch Sims.

The department received the call at 3:15 p.m. and firefighters were on scene by 3:20 p.m., Sims said.

The fire was considered a first alarm fire and around 50 personnel were called in, said Sims.

Three engines responded to the incident and the department is kept one helicopter nearby, said Sims.

No injuries were reported.
