Brush Fire In Agua Dulce Threatens At Least One Home

A brush fire has broken out in Agua Dulce Tuesday, threatening at least one home.

UPDATE (8 p.m.):

The Baker Fire was stopped at 24 acres in size, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

UPDATE (1:54 p.m.):

iLEAD Agua Dulce, a tuition-free charter school, is under immediate evacuation, according to school staff. Students are being evacuated to Vasquez Rocks , where parents and guardians will be able to collect them.

UPDATE (1:26 p.m.):

The Baker fire in Agua Dulce has grown to 5 acres in size and has been upgraded to a Second Alarm fire, according to Angeles National Forest officials.

Around 12:40 p.m. Monday, a brush fire, dubbed the Baker Fire, was reported on the 32000 block of Avenida Donari in Agua Dulce, said Giovanni Sanchez, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

As of 12:55 p.m., the brush fire is at 3 quarters of an acre in size with one structure threatened, Sanchez said.
