A brush fire in Canyon Country Friday morning was quickly stopped by firefighters.
Around 10:40 a.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a fire in the 20000 block of West Dorothy Street in Canyon Country, said Howard Tieu, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The blaze was first reported as a structure fire, however, first on scene crews reported the surrounding brush caught fire.
The 50 foot brush fire was quickly put out by firefighters .
The structure was not on fire, and did not suffer any damage, according to officials.
