Cheryl Ingrassia, owner of the Santa Clarita tile company Southern California Tile, is talking about the selection of materials available in time for summer renovations.

The 2,000-square-foot showroom features hundreds of thousands of sample tiles, with additional inventory in the back warehouse, from all over the world, according to Ingrassia.

“Stone itself comes from many different places of the world,” she said. “A lot of it is brought in through Italy… There’s Turkish stone, there’s Chinese stone, I’m sure there’s some other countries there, but Italy has been the premier manufacturers of the ceramic tile. They know what they’re doing with that.”

Those looking for a one-stop renovation project can take advantage of the installation services available directly through Southern California Tile, according to Ingrassia.

“I’m a licensed contractor. I’ve had my license for about 30 years, and I really think that we have some of the best installers,” Ingrassia said. “I run a tight ship and I want to get things done, and I want customers to be really happy.”

In addition, those homeowners who want to do the work themselves or have their own contractor can get their materials through Southern California Tile.

“If you do already have your own contractor or installer, or you’re going to do it yourself, I can get the material for you immediately,” Ingrassia said. “If you want to wait for me and my awesome installers, we’re (booked) a few weeks out.”
