Have you ever thought of riding a roller coaster with a bunch of cops?

Residents can have the chance on Friday, April 9 by joining the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Foundation for an exclusive party at Magic Mountain.

Tickets are being sold for $40 and get you an all day pass to the park that includes access to the park after hours from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Sheriff’s Foundation was started in 1984 and aims to assist the Santa Clarita station purchase needed equipment beyond what the county provides. Last year money went towards lockers deputies can use to store their extra equipment. Funds also help purchase McGruff costumes and coloring supplies to educate children.
