One popular console that attracted the eyes of many gamers is the Nintendo Switch 2, which was released in June of this year.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is a great video game console that appeals to all ages and is backward-compatible.

Avid gamers should be careful about third-party docks for the Nintendo Switch 2 as Nintendo’s latest console update prevents gamers from using third-party Switch 2 docks, according to EuroGamer.

Despite the lack of third-party dock compatibility for the Nintendo Switch 2, it’s a major upgrade over its predecessor, as it comes with a bigger 7.9-inch screen, new buttons, and a mouse mode, according to Independent.

Nintendo gamers who happen to be Pokemon fans should also check out the Pokemon Trading Game: Mega Evolution Elite Training Box, according to The Toy Insider.

Mega Evolution is a reference to an evolution feature for Pokemon in the latest game: Pokemon: Legends: Z-A, according to the Nintendo website.

As if to bring back early 2000s nostalgia, the Tamagotchi Paradise  is in the hot 20 toys in 2025 for kids ages 6 and over, according to The Toy Insider.

Instead of focusing on the pet-keeping experience, the Tamagotchi Paradise toy focuses on wildlife conservation in a new egg design that has a throwback feature to a 90s design in which the top of the plastic shell flips open to reveal a docking port, according to Engadget.

For parents who have toddlers, Imaginair Bumper Cars is another popular toy that is on the top 20, according to The Toy Insider.

The Imaginair Bumper Cars are recommended for kids who are 18 months or older and feature inflatable characters such as Disney, Bluey, Marvel and more, according to The Toy Insider.

Parents who have dinosaur-obsessed kids should get the Imaginext Jurassic World Rebirth Ultimate Action Chomp T.Rex, according to The Toy Insider.

The Imaginext Jurassic World Rebirth Ultimate Action Chomp T.Rex is for ages 3 or over and was in a list of toys released by Mattel to commemorate the Jurassic World: Rebirth that came out in July of this year, according to Laughing Place.

Parents with doll-obsessed kids and Ms. Rachel fanatics should get a Ms. Rachel Speak and Sing Doll, according to Buzzfeed.

The Ms. Rachel doll  is recommended for kids ages 1-and-a-half to 3-and-a-half if they’re fans of the show who want to continue being in Ms. Rachel’s presence after hours, according to Buzzfeed.

Music lovers should also check out a VTech drum machine so they can rock out to 30 songs via Bluetooth or a headphone jack for parents who want a headache-free Christmas, according to Buzzfeed.

If parents are planning on making a quick getaway in a cabin that’s in area with potential snow, they should check out a 1,000-piece puzzle that goes by the theme of “Forest Feast” and can preoccupy their kids with 50+ Easter Eggs while they assemble their puzzle, according to Buzzfeed.

Parents who don’t want to buy their kids the next-gen camera toy should get them a kids’ camera that previous camera owners consider high-quality for its price, according to Buzzfeed.

Finally, a gift that both parents and kids can enjoy after a long day from work or school, should be a screaming goat figurine, according to Buzzfeed.

It’s a reasonable price for parents who might want to consider getting it and want to learn more about goats, as the purchase comes with a 32-page illustrated booklet about goats, according to Buzzfeed.
